2024 Acura ZDX: All-Electric SUV | 2025 Options Available

The Best Features of the 2024 Acura ZDX

We are pleased to present the all-electric 2024 Acura ZDX, a vehicle that signifies a new era of luxury SUVs through its innovative design and advanced capabilities.

Impressive Range On One Charge

The A-Spec trim offers an estimated range of 500 kilometres on a single charge. This impressive range gives owners significant freedom for both trips around local streets and extended journeys along the 401, which is one of the most common concerns with electric vehicles. This is possible thanks to the advanced engineering of the ZDX which prioritizes energy management, so the powertrain is optimized.

High-Performance Powertrain

For drivers seeking elevated performance, the Type S delivers over 500 horsepower.  The immediate torque delivery that electric motors deliver makes for an engaging connection to the road and responsive acceleration that isn't present in every EV SUV.

Aerodynamic and Elegant Design

The visual appeal of the ZDX is a testament to Acura's design philosophy, blending form with function. The exterior design is characterized by a low roofline and sculpted body sides, resulting in a profile that is both sporty and elegant. The aesthetic decisions are complemented by aerodynamic considerations that contribute to the vehicle's overall efficiency and range.

Advanced Interior Technology

The interior of the 2024 ZDX is filled with advanced technological features designed to enhance the driving experience. The fully digital instrument cluster allows easy access to comprehensive vehicle information and control.

The piece of tech that owners tell us they get the most use from is the built-in connectivity to Apple Carplay or Android Auto. This allows drivers access to Google Maps and other apps on their smartphone hands-free on the infotainment screen. Listen to music, navigate with your preferred map app, place phone calls hand-free free and more.

Commitment to Safety

Like all Acura models, the ZDX comes with a full suite of safety features standard in the form of AcuraWatch. With AcuraWatch drivers have:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS®): This system is designed to help reduce the likelihood and severity of a frontal impact. It works by alerting you if it detects a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian ahead. If a collision appears unavoidable, CMBS® can automatically apply the brakes to help you slow down or even stop the vehicle.

  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow: ACC lets you set a desired speed and following distance from the vehicle ahead. If the car you are following slows down, your speed will be adjusted to maintain a set distance. With Low-Speed Follow, this system can even bring your vehicle to a complete stop in stop-and-go traffic and then resume speed when the vehicle ahead starts moving again. It makes highway driving and navigating traffic much more relaxed.

  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS): LKAS helps you stay centred in your lane on the highway. Using a camera to monitor lane markings, if your vehicle starts to drift out of its lane without you signalling, LKAS will gently adjust the steering to help guide you back to the center. It's a great feature for reducing driver fatigue on long journeys.

  • Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) System: This system helps you stay on the road. Using a camera to identify lane markings, if your vehicle drifts too close to the edge of the road or even crosses over detected markings without a signal, RDM will provide steering assistance and can even apply the brakes to help prevent you from leaving the roadway.

  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR): TSR uses a camera to recognize speed limit signs and other traffic signs as you drive. This information is then displayed on your driver information interface, helping you stay aware of the posted regulations.

  • Blind Spot Information (BSI) System with Rear Cross Traffic Monitor: BSI uses radar sensors to detect vehicles in your blind spots. If a vehicle is detected when you signal for a lane change, a warning indicator will illuminate in your side mirror. The Rear Cross Traffic Monitor is especially helpful when you're backing up. It can detect vehicles approaching from either side and alert you, making reversing out of parking spaces safer and easier

Never forget that these technologies are intended to aid you while you are driving, they do not replace being attentive on the road. Always pay attention to the road while driving.

Deciphering Dash Lights

We’ve all been there: You merge onto the 401, heading toward Toronto or back home to Pickering, when a small orange wrench illuminates on your dashboard. Beside it, a cryptic code like A1 or B appears. At Acura Pickering, we know these symbols can feel like a riddle. Far from being a cause for panic, however, this system helps you maintain the long-term health and longevity of your vehicle....
